Derek lives in the UK County of Rutland and photography has always been a passion. Originally he worked in General Management and extensive travel with his job allowed him the opportunity to develop his photographic skills, enjoying photographing people and places. Today he enjoys taking a range of images.
To develop this skill further, currently he studied for a Foundation Degree in Professional Photography, with an ultimate aim of studying for a BA (Hons) in Photography with Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
His camera has always been Canon, and the current main camera body is a Canon 5D Mark111, each new model brings a fresh approach to taking images, his second body is a Canon Film SLR, as he still enjoys the complete process of B&W film photography
